• Education for All: We are dedicated to fully funding public education, stopping wasteful spending on vouchers, increasing support for local school systems, raising teacher pay, and limiting state funding for charter schools.
• Fair Wages and Strong Unions: We believe in the power of organized labor and are committed to supporting all unions and raising the Indiana minimum wage.
• Healthcare as a Human Right: We aim to expand Medicaid benefits, including mental health services, and uphold the sanctity of the doctor-patient relationship by supporting pro-choice policies.
• Protecting Women’s Rights: It's time to stand firm against policies that undermine women's rights and ensure that our legal framework reflects the dignity and equality of all women.
• Climate Action: Recognizing the urgent need to address climate change, we plan to increase wetlands and provide local governments with incentives to adopt sustainable practices.
• Democracy and Home Rule: We support the repeal of restrictive laws against "home rule," empowering local communities to make decisions that best serve their needs.
• Tax Reform: We propose making Indiana's income tax more equitable, increasing taxes on upper-class individuals and reducing the burden on working and middle-class families, with increased personal exemptions for those under 30.
• Criminal Justice Reform: We will closely regulate the operations of the Indiana Attorney General’s office to ensure justice and fairness throughout our state.
