Rep. Vicente Gonzalez is the current U.S. House Representative for TX-15. He was first elected in 2016.
Vicente Gonzalez earned his JD from Texas Wesleyan Univ. and his BA rom Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Univ. He founded his own law firm (1997-now), and is a recognized trial lawyer. He is licensed to practice in the US Supreme Court.
Vicente Gonzalez was born in Corpus Christi, TX and grew up in a working class family, son of a merchant seaman in the Korean War. Vicente Gonzalez and his wife Lorena Saenz (a former teacher and school administrator in the area) live in McAllen, TX in TX-15.
