Destiny for the People
Destiny Drake West is an award-winning policy leader, military wife, and mother who is running for Congress in Maryland's 2024 Democratic Primary election to give working families a stronger voice in Washington. Destiny will use her lived experience and federal government expertise to fight for economic mobility, affordable housing and healthcare, small businesses, environmental justice, and public safety in Congress.
When elected, Destiny will become the first woman to represent Maryland in Congress since 2016 and the first African American to ever represent the 6th District.
