Six years after 9/11 the Bush administration has still not secured our borders and our ports. Criticized for this failure in 2004, Bush responded, “How are we going to pay for it?” His priorities were instead tax cuts for the rich and invading Iraq. This has alienated allies and made us more vulnerable to attacks on the homeland.
I urge you to support the Democrats below [all from very competitive districts] who have voted (1) to increase funding for border security [RC # 471] and (2) to start withdrawing troops from Iraq [positions supported by 66% + of registered voters]. Please make a contribution to help reelect these vulnerable Freshman.
