Don’t forget, you can bring your own folding chairs to the event. Also, pillows are great as there’s lots of floor space near the front.


The Progressive Reading Series happens at 7pm on the third Saturday of every month at the Makeout Room through October 8, 2008.


Tickets at the door are $10 to $20 sliding scale, or you can purchase tickets in advance by making a $20 donation per person to any of our supported congressional candidates through this page. Advance tickets are a good idea because sometimes we sell out. Also, pre-pays are let in first. Just bring your donation receipt with you to the event.


Funds raised at the door for the September 20 event will go to support Larry Kissell running against pro-torture incumbent Robert Hayes in North Carolina’s 8th District. You can purchase advance tickets by contributing here to Larry Kissell, Victoria Wultsin, or Tom Perriello.
