I’ll make this brief. Tom has done incredible things around the world (in Sierra Leone, Darfur, Afghanistan), but now believes that he can do the most good and effect the most change by unseating one of the more despicable characters in politics and by bringing his fresh, knowledgeable, enlightened world view to the American political landscape. I think Tom can win in his district – he’s been receiving a lot of support during his campaign and the recent primary in Virginia proved that there are a lot energized Democrats hungry for new faces and new ideas – and I know Tom should win. He has always been an incredible friend, a person of the highest integrity and Tom has a soul that has motivated him to always push the envelope and fight for the benefit of those who are most in need. He has already achieved enough in a very young career to make his friends and family look on in awe and I know, with your support and mine, he will continue to make us all proud to be on his team.
