Ned Lamont has fresh ideas and makes no bones about wanting the US out of Iraq. It’s a simple position, and the CT Democrats agree with him.
What is unfortunate, is that Joe Lieberman refuses to step out of the race since he’s been denied his parties nomination. This means this race is going to continue to be VERY expensive, and Ned needs all the cash he can get.
Think of it this way: In a divided Senate, do you really want Joe Lieberman to cast the deciding vote when it comes to the next appropriations vote on Iraq? Neither do I.
