Most of you all have heard me talk about my youngest brother over the years or have met him yourself. He is a remarkable person and I’m proud to support his announcement to run for U.S. Congress in the 5th District in Virginia. Tom’s life has been building towards this type of public service forever begining as an early environmental activist. Most recenlty, Tom has worked on issues of transitional justice and security as well as environmental issues in India, Darfur, Sierra Leone, and Afghanistan. It is exciting that someone like Tom has made the commitment to to run for public office at this time.
