An Indianapolis native, André Carson graduated from Arsenal Technical High School and earned his BA from Concordia and his MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University. André is a nine-year law enforcement veteran. His public safety experience includes serving with the Indiana Department of Homeland Security’s Intelligence Fusion Center. On the Indianapolis City-County Council, André has been a strong voice for our communities. André and his wife, Mariama, have a one-year-old daughter, Salimah.
