In 2020, Trump was expelled from the White House but 2 years later the Republicans still have veto power over legislation with their narrow, tenuous majority in the House. In 2022, a dozen Blue Dogs and New Dems from the Republican wing of the Democratic Party were defeated, handing the House over to the GOP.
Now things are worse than ever.
This cycle, the only way forward is to RESIST Corporate Democrats and do everything possible to elect more and better progressives to the House.
While the Democratic Party establishment tries electing more corporate neoliberals, Blue America will continue trying to elect independent-minded progressives to join the ones we helped elect in previous cycles, like Pramila Jayapal, AOC, Jamie Raskin, Summer Lee, Ilhan Omar, Jamaal Bowman, Greg Casar, Cori Bush and Rashida Tlaib.
