Mark Begich is in his second and final term as mayor of Anchorage, AK.
As Mayor, Mark led the city during a period of sustained economic
growth, balanced city budgets, and low taxes.
Mark is running for the U.S. Senate, because he believes the coming
years are critical for America as we face vital decisions affecting
all of us— jobs and economic prosperity, energy, health care,
education and care for our veterans. Business as usual isn’t working
in Washington. Alaskans need a senator with new ideas, who is up front
with voters and who has the energy and vision to help change
Washington so it work for us.
